Call your friends and begin the celebration early at Nia from 3:30 to 5:30pm when we’ll be pouring select sparkling wines perfect for the holidays. On hand will be Wine Enthusiast, Henry Jansen with Heritage Wines and his recommendations on traditional food and wine pairings for the season ahead.

Nia Restaurant – Italian Wine Tastingitaly

 Join us on Tuesday November 15, 2011 at Nia Restaurant and discover some of the finest Italian varietals.  We will be tasting wines ranging from Pinot Grigio grown in the northern Alto Adige to the lucious Ajello Majus Rosso from the southern region of Sicily.  To appease your appetite there will be some delicious piatti (small plates) included to pair with the wines.  Following is a list of the wines that we will be tasting that evening:

Recently awarded Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence for its focus on Spain and Portugal, Nia along with David Sink of Maverick Wines will host a guided tour and sampling of select wine making regions of Iberia. Classic tapas and charcuterie will be served to complement the luscious wines from this sunny peninsula.
